The True Soldiers of God

In the Islamic world, the word Mujehadeen means a Soldier of God, or a Holy Warrior. The term became famous during the conflict in Afghanistan, when radical Islamic forces defeated the weak pro-Soviet government. Regardless of the Afghan government's alliances, it showed promise as being the only way for Afghanistan to pull itself into the 20th century, with a true government. Of course this never happened, and today Afghanistan is ruled by an inhuman regime who's abuses of human rights is almost legendary. Rather than considering proven methods of governing, the former Mujehadeen would prefer to let religious law be their guide.

Mujehadeen also appeared in Bosnia and Kosovo, where their atrocities are well documented. These soldiers, coming from Asian and other Middle Eastern countries, had the audacity to kill European Slavs living in their own land. The victims of these Mujehadeen were usually killed in the most gruesome ways, which is typical of Islamic warriors. Equally despicable are the certain Bosnian Muslims who allowed the Mujehadeen to fight in the war. Even worse are the crimes committed by the Mujehadeen in Chechnya, where some of the most fanatical Muslims make a desperate attempt at unifying fellow fanatics under Islamic law.

Looking at the actions of these Mujehadeen, one must ask: What kind of god do these men serve, if they are supposedly his soldiers? Obviously theirs is a cruel entity, and their religion is used as an excuse to kill. Contrary to common belief, the amount of people killed by so-called Christians is far less than that of those killed by Islam. In fact, in the 20th century, Christians have been the primary victim of persecution, even more so than Jews. But I digress.

Are these Mujehadeen truly soldiers of god? Or have they simply used religion to excuse their murderous ways? The Chechens for example, are well known for their banditry as well as brutality. However, a Chechen who fanatically follows Islamic law is even more dangerous. According to Islamic law, if one dies in a Jihad, or Holy War, they are guaranteed to go to Paradise. Of course this is obviously just a ploy to make loyal Muslims fight any war their leaders desire. One actually feels sorry for them, getting killed based on a false promise. The fanatical Muslim Chechen is far more dangerous because he is essentially still a murderous bandit, but now he believes firmly that what he is doing is right. Generally, a criminal is well aware that what he is doing is wrong. In contrast, a criminal that believes he is favored by God in his crimes is much worse.

So to the Slavic peoples, who are the true soldiers of God? It is apparent that the true religion of the Slavs is Christianity, either Eastern Orthodox or Roman Catholicism. It is an integral part of our culture and heritage, and cannot be severed. Our soldiers are the ones who's governments realize the danger of western secularism as well as Islamic expansion. Those are the soldiers of Russia, Belarus, and Serbia.

Serbia's military has constantly been criticized, practically every time it has been in a war. However, they continue to fight against seemingly impossible odds, and often win. In the end, the forces of liberalism and radical Islam will always lose. Serbs are living proof. We can look into their history and see that their values, values such as freedom or death, have been with them even under the most brutal occupations. Like in the battle of Kosovo, Serbian forces today have helped stem the tide of Islamic expansion into Europe, preserving Christian culture and values. Their enemies have been those who have no respect for cultures other than their own, such as the Muslim Mujehadeen in Bosnia and the KLA in Kosovo. It is painfully ironic that it is the Serbs army that is criticized for crimes unproved while an entity like the KLA, a group of drug running thugs, are lauded as freedom fighters! The Serbian forces, be they Chetniks, Vojske Jugoslavije, or other paramilitary forces are true soldiers of god; part of the army of the one true god.

Another large group of true soldiers of god is found in the form of the Russian Army. In Chechnya, the uncivilized fanatics are suppressed mostly by the troops of the VV, or Internal Army (Внутренние Войска). These troops, along with the regular army, Cossacks, marines, and various Spetsnaz groups bring peace to the civilized peoples of Chechnya and Dagestan. To those who have truly devoted themselves to discovering the truth about the Chechen conflict, the Chechen terrorists legacy of terror, brutality, sadism, and inhuman torture and murder is no secret. For centuries, Christian Russians have kept the area under control, and so it shall remain forever. Unlike the terrorists, Russians have compassion even for those of other religions, in this case the peaceful Muslims in Dagestan who just want to live their lives in this century, rather than a backward theocracy as supported by the terrorists. Like the Serbs, Russia's soldiers are highly trained, ready to face any sort of enemy. These men fight a crusade against some of the most diabolical regimes and factions in the modern world. Theirs is a crusade against inhuman barbarians. If God had an army, surely these brave men would be in its vanguard. С нами Бог!
